Mesmerized

How the art people ever mistook this particular gent for a romantic hero is beyond me. He looks like a black Bart Simpson. Fugly don't cut it.

Sean Scott has it made.  She's landed herself a Public Relations job at a methanol plant in the prosperous industrial sector of Trinidad, a job that comes with loads of perks, including a beautiful apartment, a sunny climate - and an unexpected job babysitting newly-arrived whizz-kid executive, Christian DeVane.  Tough luck that the man in question just happens to be her ex-fiancé, whose engagement ring she sent winging skyward the night she discovered that the man in whom she'd put all her trust had set himself up in a cozy little apartment on the other side of town.  An apartment that came complete with a live-in blonde.

And if that isn't enough to ruin her day, all hell breaks loose when a band of religious extremists stage a coup, hold the government hostage, and start blowing things up....

Night Heat

My very first cover! I was so excited, I had it framed. Gave one to my folks, too. It's still on their wall.Trinidad is Rhea's island, and she loves to show it off.  Her job as tour guide lets her roam off the beaten track, taking eco-tourists on mini-safaris to far-flung corners of the island, where mud volcanoes burble and manatees play.  So who the heck does this Marcus guy think he is, turning up with his laptop in one hand and his camera in the other, threatening to write an exposé on the environmental ills that threaten her small slice of paradise?  Doesn't he know that his story could all but blow the small island's tourist industry apart?

Getting stuck with the annoying man in a small house during a devastating hurricane doesn't help things one bit, either!
